Montessori School of Ruston Enrollment

Support

We seek to support a child's freedom of choice within the school environment, allowing them to fully pursue their passions while acquiring well-rounded knowledge and essential skills.

Environment

Our learning environment support intellectual, physical, social-emotional, and spiritual development.. We’re intentional about providing children movement, sunshine, and free play!

Classroom

Our classrooms and materials cultivate a child's own natural desire to learn, encourage them to take risks, and enable them to overcome obstacles and challenges.

Montessori Principles

We root your child's learning experience in the Montessori principles: respect for oneself, respect for others, and respect for the environment.

A recent study published in Frontiers in Psychology found evidence that confirmed what many educators and researchers already suspected: Children enrolled in Montessori schools generally have higher levels of well-being as an adult.  Instead of thinking of momentary happiness, let us look at happiness through the lens of contentment, fulfillment, and deep joy, specifically as it exists in learning.

“One test of the correctness of educational procedure is the happiness of the child.”
